Two assassins cross paths—Imari Matoba and Yayoi Kawaguchi. One has lost their master, and they part ways. They make a mutual promise to assist each other if either finds themselves in danger. However, one of them claims they do not intend to rely on the help of an assassin. The question remains: what will the future hold for them? Will they reunite?
