A group of friends, connected by a shared past, are reincarnated in the modern era, each marked by a butterfly-shaped birthmark on their thumb. When these marks touch, they experience fragmented memories of their previous lives, which do not always align. One member, Tsubame, believes he and Kanoko are destined to be together, but Kanoko discovers this is not the case—by then, she has already developed feelings for him. The group must navigate their lingering bonds from the past while pursuing their current lives, filled with romance and enjoyment.
