Shuuseki Kairo no Himawari

A cyberpunk-themed anthology focuses on the concept of the "DOLL." One story follows a group of youths who have lost interest in sex. Another explores the emotional struggles of a girl raised in an unloving household. In a third, Vanilla, a maidroid, lives with an elderly man and his unfaithful wife. The man, isolated and lonely, grows attached to Vanilla, treating her like a child. He promises to watch the sunflowers with her when they bloom. Their relationship forms a complex emotional and physical bond. Other stories include a girl carrying something mysterious, a mermaid pulled from her world, a doll-like girl with real internal organs, and a human and a clone who unknowingly pass each other.
