Tsubasa wo Motsu Mono

In the late 22nd century, the world is harsh and unforgiving, the result of numerous wars that have left the land barren. Society is controlled by the military, major corporations, and high-ranking officials, with most people struggling to survive in a climate of crime and poverty. A former thief named Kotobuki is on the move, seeking an honest livelihood to escape her criminal past. She is pursued by Raimon, a former military commander who has left his post to follow her in pursuit of his own aspirations. Their efforts to move on from their respective histories are continually disrupted by individuals after "Tsubasa," a mythical device believed capable of granting wishes. Once thought to have existed long ago, it has since vanished, yet many now seek it, attempting to use Kotobuki and Raimon's abilities to do so.
