Nagami's body is discovered in the hotel pool. Megure questions Samaki, Hamaka, and Toyoshima regarding the actions they took after they left Nagami alone in the pool. According to the pool reception staff, between the presumed hour of Nagami's death between noon and 1 PM, Toyoshima, Samaki, and Hamaka each came to the pool in that order. Later, the bellboys describe the situation at the pool while they were searching for Nagami, leading Conan and Sera to investigate the pool and discover which of her three acquaintances murdered her.
