Komi’s friends thank her for chocolate, but she worries about a past incident with Tadano. A tear in her tights leads to Yamai replacing them, then stealing the torn pair, causing Komi to chase her while Tadano accidentally sees up her skirt. Akako Onigashima, usually cheerful, snaps when her earphones tangle, but Komi helps her, leading to a batting cage visit that strengthens their bond. Amami Satou, a sweet girl who struggles to refuse requests, learns to ask for help after interacting with Komi and Tadano, resulting in them assisting her with morning classroom cleaning. Finally, Komi and Tadano argue over a shogi problem posed by Katou. Noticing their frustration, Najimi prompts Tadano to apologize, which Komi accepts with smug satisfaction.
