Questa seconda parte della serie segue Ren e i suoi compagni nel tentativo di prevenire un evento apocalittico predetto da un mostro chiamato Nostradamus. Mana scopre informazioni riguardo alla sua origine e l'importanza del suo ruolo negli avvenimenti in corso, diventando una figura centrale la cui influenza potrebbe portare a esiti positivi o negativi. A differenza dell'installment precedente, questo non utilizza unicamente animazione interamente computerizzata, ma torna a una combinazione di animazione 2D e CG simile alla prima stagione.
