Madara employs the First Hokage's Wood Dragon to bind Kurama and Gyuuki while chiding Obito for his resurrection methods. Kakashi Hatake suffers from Sharingan overuse while questioning Obito’s motives until Naruto Uzumaki intervenes with a shadow clone to save him, Killer Bee, and Guy. Inspired by Naruto’s words regarding Obito’s past ideals, Kakashi secures the determination to safeguard his student. He persuades Naruto to allow Kurama to boost his chakra, enabling him to trick Obito into using Kamui, which removes Kakashi’s tactical advantage. As Gyuuki struggles against the Gedo Statue’s barrier, Naruto and Killer Bee launch two Tailed Beast Bombs to destroy the statue before it regenerates into the Ten-Tails. Although the attack seems successful, the revived Ten-Tails emerges from the smoke.
