One night Momoko's mother appears in Momoko's bedroom to explain that she is the angel Celeste and has been away for so long because she has been defending the angel world. Aphrodite grants Celeste the day off so that she may spend time with her family. As the day comes to a close, Momoko tries to give her parents a moment alone to say their goodbyes and chances upon Yousuke.
