In the Purgatory, Godou meets Susanoo in a cabin, revealing himself as a god who is also Ena's guardian, and Godou begins to understand who Susanoo was before he retired to the Purgatory. Meanwhile, as they resume their intense fight in the mountains, Ena allows her sword to fully possess and control by her, which is gradually depleting Erica's energy.
