Content creators Rebecca Bluegarden and Happy visit the Granbell Kingdom, a century-abandoned theme park operated by robots, to record videos for their online B-Cube channel. The two encounter a human boy named Shiki, who has lived at the park since childhood. Rebecca resists Shiki's attempts to befriend her, but warms to him upon witnessing his friendship with the robots; she later learns about his reluctance to leave them due to his responsibilities as their mechanic, and about his failure to repair his adoptive grandfather, Demon King Ziggy. The next morning, the robots become aggressive towards Shiki and Rebecca, seemingly influenced by a virus to rebel against humans; they also dismiss Shiki as lacking any mechanical skill, revealing an auto-repair system that they have hidden from him. Gaining Rebecca's sympathy, Shiki reluctantly uses his gravity Ether Gear ability to defend her and Happy, who help him flee into outer space on their ship, the Aqua Wing, revealing themselves to be from another planet. The robots break down from old age shortly afterwards, having staged their infection to save Shiki from solitude on their own planet, Granbell.
