It is revealed that the dried-up food that Kagome brought back from Feudal Japan are actually dehydrated food demons when boiled in water. Inuyasha must seek and destroy any demon lurking within the high school to cease any potential chaos. Kagome, on the other hand, is to complete her understudy assignments, minding her attention of the demons. During her choral performance, there is a cameo appearance of Jimmy Kudo and Rachel Moore from Case Closed.
