A boy wakes up without memories, and a hole in his chest. His only belonging is a blurry picture of a girl. He's suddenly picked up by a creature, and chased by strange machines. He makes it to a place with other people, and soon a man named Popo greets and shows him around. The boy is taken to the land above, and is told by Popo that his name is Warp. He gets on a ship, and is taken away.
