Satoshi and Saito's World Coronation Series battle continues, with Satoshi bringing out Negigaknight. Saito swaps Kairiky for Luchabull and defeats Negigaknight with a Sky Attack. Pikachu finishes off Luchabull with a Thunderbolt, but is subsequently taken out by Otosupus. Lucario returns to the battle and avenges Pikachu by knocking out Otosupus. Lucario and Kairiky are matched up once again. Saito Gigantamaxes her Kairiky, while Satoshi activates Lucario's Mega Evolution for the first time. After returning to its normal form, Kairiky and Mega Lucario collide with a Bullet Punch and Force Palm respectively. However, Lucario learns Steal Beam and defeats Kairiky.
