第22話: 涼子、ドッペルゲンガーによる学園都市の脅威を解決するためにインディアンポーカーを考案する

Ryouko states that she believes destroying Doppelgänger's body could cause calamity to befall Academy City, leading her to invent Indian Poker as a means to crowdsource a solution. Later on, Ryouko is confronted by Doppelgänger, before Scavenger shows up to try and detain Doppelgänger. As the other members struggle again with Doppelgänger's power, Ryouko is pursued by Taroumaru Seike but is rescued by Mikoto after she learns that Ryouko created Doppelgänger as a means to save her mother. Upon receiving heavy damage to her body, Doppelgänger begins to absorb other forms of matter to repair herself and become more powerful, at which point Mikoto, having just defeated Taroumaru, confronts the other Scavenger members.
