As Kenshiro and Rei travel together, Ken recalls his time competing for the Hokuto succession with Raoh. They come across a village devastated by Raoh's Assault Squad and learn they are headed for Mamiya's village, so Rei goes back to protect Airi and Lin. Toki reveals more about Ken's past to Mamiya.
