Scouted by an editor from Shueisha and author Tatsuya Matsuki for her Samon the Summoner fan art, she moved from Kansai to Tokyo in order to start her career. She partnered up with Matsuki to publish the one-shot <i>Welcome to the Asagaya Art Academy's Film Program</i>, which became the basis for the serialization of ACT-AGE.
