While Animus is fighting the other knights, Anima determines that he has erected a barrier to keep Samidare away. After a while, Animus approaches Taiyou to retrieve the power he lent him. However, Taiyou uses his wish in order to prevent this from happening. Once Samidare finally breaks the barrier, Anima mortally wounds a weaken Animus. They then have a final conversation before he dies. After Anima mourns his death, she tells the other knights they have to deal with Samidare now that her and Animus' tale is complete.
