Yukari ends up swapping places with her Crystal Animal after it collides with her, effectively becoming a cat as a result. Now able to understand cat language, Yukari learns that the neighboring cats are fighting with the fairies over the use of Strawberry Mountain's lake. Noticing a dark energy causing the cats and fairies to fight with each other, Yukari goes up against Ciel in her fairy form, Kirarin, who is unaware of Yukari's true identity, over who should have leave the mountain. Feeling she should serve as a bad guy so that everyone else can get along, Yukari jumps off a cliff but is saved by Kirarin and the combined forces of the cats and fairies.
