When the time is right all girls receive a PriTicket, granting them access to the world of PriPara. It is here girls strive to become the top idols in the world. Laala Manaka is an elementary student at Paprika private academy, where unfortunately for the students, PriPara has been banned by the school's headmistress, Gloria Okanda, who has a deep seated hatred of the activity. The headmistress has an unusual ability to sniff out PriTicket's and confiscates them using her handheld vacuum, nicknamed Rina. Upon finding a bag dropped by PriPara idol Mirei, Laala enters the world of PriPara for the first time and ends up performing alongside her.
