Maruzō goes missing, and Ran and the others learn more about the face mark as they continue their investigations. The head of the Kitōgami House had an older sister, Yumi, which had the visage scab of the face as well. It turns out that the visage scab on Yuri is fake, and two members of the house had stole 100 million yen and used the house as a hiding place. Ran and the others are tied up and left for dead after the culprits light the house on fire, but Ran and Midori use their powers in conjunction with Yumi's ghost to save everyone.
