Nell decides to let Pip choose their next destination, which turns out to be a Hero training dungeon beneath the kingdom's capital city. With the dungeon being closed on a "day off", Nell impulsively starts exploring it; she and Letty get lost, and in their efforts to find an exit, they end up within the halls of Nell's former home - the royal palace itself!
