The students evacuate Violet Wolf's dormitory, but to Ciel and Sebastian's dismay, neither Derrick nor the other missing students appear. Seeking a way to meet the headmaster, Ciel discovers that the most distinguished student from the upcoming annual cricket tournament will receive an invitation to meet him. To vie for this honor, Sebastian arranges for Ciel to join Sapphire Owl's team. At the tournament's opening ceremony, Ciel encounters Elizabeth and her parents. Alexis recalls that Sapphire Owl has won the tournament only once, with Ciel's father, Vincent Phantomhive, as the prefect and team leader.
