A high school boy named Kouichi crashes his bicycle, accidentally beheading a Jizo statue. Later, his friend tells him that the whole town is abuzz about the incident, and warns him he will be cursed, which Kouichi dismisses. That night, a man in a suit and hat pelts his window with pebbles before slinking away, grumbling that the curse hasn't happened yet. The next morning, schoolgirls gossip excitedly about the statue. He sees the man in the suit, scaring him into nearly getting hit by a car. Near school, he lashes out at his friends that everyone is watching him to ogle at the curse, which they deny. He then sees a huge mob gathering, chanting 'Get cursed'. He flees in a panic, and is slowly surrounded by people who want him cursed, including the man in the suit, with glowing eyes. He flees until he falls down a long flight of stairs. On the ground below, next to his lifeless body, the detached head of the statue rolls toward Kouichi's corpse with an expression of utter delight and glowing eyes. (Source: Wikipedia)
