He participates in a hunting group named 'Sword Hunt' together with Fan Zuo, Pu Pan, Qu Feng and the captain Xin Jian. He is an advanced peak starfall warrior.

It is later discovered that he was hired by the Li family to kill Fan Zuo and the other team members.
