A meat cut in a dim kitchen reveals crawling insects, turning a routine task into something unsettling. This 2015 graduate work from the Tokyo University of the Arts explores the shift from the mundane to the bizarre through a simple act of cooking. Created by a first-year student in the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Department of Animation, the piece uses everyday settings to introduce an element of discomfort and surrealism.
