She is a Japanese manga artist, who debuted with her work "Monoroogu" in may 1979, which was published in Garo. The literary style shown in this debut story won her many fans, but she has many other works with different kind of stories. Along with [Murasaki Yamada](https://anilist.co/staff/153699/Murasaki-Yamada) and [Hinako Sugiura](https://anilist.co/staff/101746/Hinako-Sugiura), she was called "Garo's Three Daughters" who played an significant part in the popularity of "Garo" around same time.
