Otoha Mao is a first-year high school student who unexpectedly meets Hinata Meisa and is thrust into the role of top idol Hana in Aikatsu Planet. She must conceal her new identity while participating in idol activities. The series follows Mao and her friends as they work together toward becoming top idols.
