Arabian Nights: Sindbad no Bouken

Toei Animation Co., Ltd. produced this work with a screenplay by Tezuka Osamu in collaboration with novelist Kita Morio. Sinbad and a boy named Ali initially sneak onto the ship "Boulder" but earn legitimate positions by gaining the captain's approval. A princess named Samir joins the ship to flee a minister who seeks to force her into marriage. Sinbad then embarks on a series of adventures to safeguard the princess. The narrative includes dramatic events, such as a confrontation with a fierce bird guarding a collection of diamonds.
