Assassins Pride

Outside the protective glass walls of Flandore, humanity faces constant threats from monstrous creatures. The only defense against them is mana magic, a power exclusive to the Noble class. Melida, the heir to the House of Angel, fails to display her magical abilities upon reaching adulthood. In response, Kufa, a half-vampire, is sent by his grandfather to address the situation. If Melida remains unable to produce mana, Kufa is instructed to kill her for the perceived crime of impure blood. When she fails the test, Kufa refuses to carry out the order. Instead, he chooses to give her some of his own mana, defying the directive.
