In the year 2808, three individuals serving life sentences are enlisted into the Cyber Police to assist in controlling crime in Oedo, a city that was once known as Tokyo. As part of their agreement, they receive reduced sentences for each completed mission. To guarantee their cooperation, the police equip them with specialized collars. These devices are designed to prevent escape or mission failure; if a collar is tampered with or the mission deadline is missed, it will trigger a self-destruct mechanism.
