Long ago, China was inhabited by magical spirits, and those who harnessed their power were known as Exorcists. Their role was to stop the Great Diablo, a demon that appears once every thousand years. During the Han Dynasty, a disaster called The Oblivion caused all spirits to disappear, leaving Exorcists powerless. Centuries later, during the war between the Qin and Jin Kingdoms, the spirits of the fallen fueled the Great Diablo's return. To combat the demon, Chen Xing, the last Exorcist, embarks on a journey with the "Lamp of the Heart," an artifact residing in his soul. His goal is to reach Xiangyang City and find Xiangshu, who is fated to aid in defeating the demon.
