According to the synopsis from the DVD release of the English dub: Takeshi invites Kyousuke Jin to his secret Crush Gear research laboratory to build the ultimate Crush Gear. At the same time Kouya and Kuroudo are tricked into going to the Hokkaido Cup Crush Gear competition. While there, they see Takeshi's new super Crush Gear destroy the competition and Kyousuke Jin.
