Grander Musashi

A boy named Musashi lives with his father after his mother left three years ago. He hopes she will return and is concerned she might not find them after they move from Tokyo to a rural village. Displeased with the move, he wants to return to the city. In the countryside, he encounters a man using a decoy to catch bass and becomes intrigued by lure fishing. The man teaches him, and Musashi learns that his maternal grandfather was a top bass fishing champion. This connection makes him believe fishing could help him find his mother. He shows great skill and travels to many places in search of remarkable fish. Over time, he grows to appreciate life in nature through his passion for fishing.
