A girl named Rasutel, who lives in the Floating Castle and fights demons, is chosen by a sword known as the Demon-Breaker to rescue a princess captured by a Youki. She is aided in her mission by a Youki named Anshu, who possesses an unusual basic color not typically seen in Youkis. Her younger brother, who is aligned with demon beings, complicates her journey by seeking her golden eyes, a trait inherited from their father, the Golden Youshu.
