Hyakushou Kizoku

Hiromu Arakawa spent seven years working as a farmer in Hokkaido before becoming a manga author. She managed a dairy herd, cultivated vegetables, and dealt with wildlife such as bears and squirrels. The job required long hours with little rest and was physically demanding. Her experiences are depicted in comic and anime form, offering a portrayal of the challenges and humor of farm life.
