This work is adapted from Osamu Dazai's novel "Schoolgirl," which was originally published in 1939 in the magazine "Bungakukai." It is written in the first-person perspective of a female student in Tokyo, based on the diary of a girl who admires Tadashi. The narrative focuses on a single day in May and explores the inner thoughts and self-awareness of a young woman. Through her voice, the story conveys the emotional struggles and desires of adolescence. The girl expresses a longing to live in a meaningful and beautiful way.
