Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru

A former high school track star, Kakeru Kurahara is caught stealing from a convenience store and flees the scene, where he meets Haiji Kiyose, a university student. Haiji, impressed by Kakeru's speed, invites him to move into Chikusei-sou, a shared apartment he lives in with eight others. Kakeru, having lost his deposit, agrees. Haiji later reveals the apartment is the dorm for the Kansei University Track Club and shares his goal of competing in the Hakone Ekiden, a major marathon relay event. However, most of the residents have no running experience and little interest in Haiji's plan. With time running out, Haiji must find a way to convince them to help him achieve his goal.
