Kidou Senshi Gundam AGE

A mysterious force referred to as "UE" launches an attack on the space colony Angel in A.G. 101, an event remembered as "The Day the Angel Fell," initiating a conflict for human survival. In A.G. 108, the UE strike the colony Ovan, where Flit Asuno resides with his mother, who is killed during the assault. Among her possessions, Flit finds a device containing blueprints for an ancient weapon called the Gundam. Using these, he studies engineering at a Federation base on the Nora colony and works on constructing the AGE-1 Gundam. By A.G. 115, he finishes the Gundam as the UE attack Nora, setting the stage for Flit to pilot it in defense of humanity.
