In a world where creatures known as "Spirals" emerge from isolation, individuals who can defeat them are called "Periods." Haru is a trainee Period assigned to the Arc End 8th Branch. Following a mysterious theft, an economic crisis occurs, prompting the Arc End leadership to abandon the 8th Division, leaving only three Periods behind, including Haru. With the other two remaining Periods, Haru begins the task of restoring the 8th Division.
