A bullet injury occurs on the monorail that Conan and Kogoro are riding. The two track down the perpetrator and arrive at an apartment building, but the perpetrator they find there escapes to the Tohto Market. At the Tohto Market, an employee is found bound and with his mouth covered. The culprit steals the employee's belongings and seems to be trying to do something with them. (Source: Wikipedia)
