Man Wei's graduation project from Musashino Art University explores the use of contrasting art styles as both a storytelling element and a core part of the narrative. Animation techniques serve as a metaphor for personal development, with shifts in visual style reflecting the progression from childhood to maturity. The piece traces a young dream of becoming an artist, gathering details about individuals, locations, and events from that early imagination. Through this, a depiction of childhood emerges, blending past and evolving artistic expressions to mirror the natural transformation that occurs with age.
