Six children, connected by a recent soccer match, play a video game from their homes when they are unexpectedly pulled into its world after defeating a boss. Three of them—Tomoru, Mio, and Dai—meet Professor Galileo, who reveals he created the game, Eureka, and is also trapped inside. To return home, they must complete missions scattered throughout the game world. When a mission appears in area C-1, they encounter a rival team led by another professor, who has brought their soccer opponents: Yukio, Suzuka, and Kouta. The mission involves learning about lightning and finding a way to stop it. Tomoru and his group succeed, earning a Eureka Stone. However, they learn that ten stones are needed to open the portal home, meaning more missions and scientific challenges lie ahead.
