Project HAL

Three teams of 16 students each from HAL College of Technology and Design in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya are producing web movies under the guidance of professional mecha designer Takayuki Yanase and other industry experts. These projects serve as promotional advertisements showcasing the skills students can develop at the school, including game design, anime development, and car design. Each team works independently to create their own version of the commercial, using a shared design and story as a base. The project began with the release of 16-second commercials from each branch, followed by the completion of 39-second web movies. The music for all productions is provided by the J-rock band MY FIRST STORY.
