Sixty years ago, an unusual insomnia outbreak left people sleepless for over a week, causing them to lose their minds. A new medication was developed to treat the condition, but it transformed patients into vampires. Humanity fought and defeated these creatures, though some survived. Mi Liu, a hybrid born of human and vampire, is known as The Child of Hope, symbolizing a bridge between the two species. He leads a bank heist and is captured, sent to a specialized prison operated by the National Defense Agency to oversee vampires. Attempting to escape with Anji, Mi Liu is ambushed by bizarre creatures. They discover the prison is located in Blue Town, the original birthplace of vampires. Questions remain: why are vampires confined to Blue Town, and what are the strange beings attacking them? The pair must confront these enigmas.
