Wadachi wo Koete Yuke

Three young women serve as soldiers in a desolate, snow-covered landscape after a devastating war. Their mission is to search the frozen terrain for remnants of the Iron Army, which consists of unsettling, human-like weapons. Gros and the less experienced Leichte look up to Esus, who is both stronger and more knowledgeable. Despite her strengths, Esus carries emotional scars and personal vulnerabilities. Hidden within the vast, dangerous expanse of snow may be the key to understanding both her suffering and the grim truth behind the war.
