Ko moves past his uncertainty about his transformation into a vampire and chooses to "like" Nazuna, who in turn aims to make him "fall in love" with her. Neither fully understands the concept of love, yet they spend their nights together in a chaotic way. Meanwhile, Detective Anko Uguisu is pursuing a plan to kill vampires, including Nazuna. Vampires are vulnerable to objects or people they were emotionally connected to in their human lives, prompting them to discard such attachments before they become liabilities.
