Syrus is planning to leave the school because of what his brother said. Jaden feels sorry for him and goes to duel against Syrus' brother, Zane Truesdale - an Obelisk Blue and the best duelist in the school. However, Zane's powerful Cyber Dragon deck proves too much for Jaden to handle, and he loses the duel.
