Zheng He 1405: Mo Hai Xun Zong

Two individuals, Qianlang and Yanzi, were exploring the South China Sea when a sudden storm caused them to fall into the water. Qianlang found a unique blue-and-white porcelain writing-brush washer at the ocean's bottom. This object slowly recreated the events of a historical voyage led by Zheng He 600 years earlier, as he traveled to various regions of the southern seas as an imperial envoy. The film presents detailed and dramatic accounts of the voyage, including perilous sea challenges, battles, and emotional farewells, described as intricate, striking, and impactful.
