Roland is the prince of Adel Kingdom. He has a complex about his short legs and wants them to be long. At the beginning, he is unable to use magic and seems to have an anti-magic protection on him. This anti-magic was due to the influence of the seed of the devil inside his body.

The origin of his name is based on the character Roland from the 11th-century French epic poem called The Song of Roland.
